My other part time job

Last September, while doing my shopping in my new home town Brighton , I saw an advertisement in my local health food store for some vegan cooking classes.  When I got home I looked it up online and saw that knife skills and vegan nutrition were part of the curriculum.  I contacted the facilitator to see what she would be teaching exactly, because as I told her, I already knew a lot about vegan nutrition and cooking, but the knife skills were definitely of interest to me.  As it turns out the classes were cancelled due to lack of interest, but that isn’t the end of my story.

A few weeks later I got an email from her asking me if I’d like to cook part time at a local wellness retreat centre.  I indicated that I’d be willing to interview for the position and so a couple of weeks later I visited the retreat centre and met with the owner.   Not long after that I started working for him whenever he had a large group at the centre.

I’ve decided to share my menus here because so many of the retreat guests have asked for recipes and this is honestly the most obvious place to put them.
