June 20 Plant-based cooking class

Hello everyone!  Today is the first day of summer and it’s absolutely gorgeous out here on my patio.  My dog Lucy is lying at my feet waiting for me to throw her stick for the 30th time this hour. :-)

Last night I had the pleasure of facilitating another sold out cooking class at the Quinte Naturopathic Centre in Belleville.  My assistant Karen and I demo’ed three meals:  a raw “cream” of tomato soup, a marinated mushroom and raw kale rice bowl, and a refreshingly sweet blueberry orange smoothie to round out the meal.

We had a great discussion throughout the 90-minute workshop and everyone sampled the food and (I hope) enjoyed themselves, too.
